Will Probate: There are specific procedures to be followed, including notifications and court filings, in order to have a Will probated (deemed valid by the Court).
Will Execution: Once probated, the Will's instructions must be followed. This could be as simple instructions like giving Aunt Betty a specific vase, or more complicated, like putting a specified amount of money in a Trust to be paid to Timmy when he reaches a specified age.
Estate Administration: When there is no Will, the property must be distributed in accordance with state law
Estate Litigation: Sometimes people try to pass fraudulent Wills, deprive beneficiaries of their rightful bequests, or other.
